Bellis reaches girls doubles final in French Open

CiCi Bellis, 15, of Atherton has advanced to her first Grand Slam final.
The seventh-seeded team of Bellis and Marketa Vondrousova of the Czech Republic topped unseeded Luisa Stefani of Brazil and Renata Zarazua of Mexico 6-4, 6-3 on Friday in the girls doubles semifinals at the French Open.
Bellis and Vondrousova, a 14-year-old left-hander, have not lost a set in their four matches in Paris. They will meet their fifth straight unseeded team, Romanians Ioana Ducu and Ioana Loredana Rosca, today for the title.
Ducu, 18, and Rosca, 17, knocked off fourth-seeded Naiktha Bains of Australia and Tornado Alicia Black of Boca Raton, Fla., 6-3, 6-3 in the semifinals.
