Ram, 37, and Salisbury, 28, reached the Australian Open final as the defending champions last month, losing to Ivan Dodig of Croatia and Filip Polasek of Slovakia.
Easter Bowl — Second-seeded Alexandra Yepifanova, a Stanford signee from Lake Worth, Fla., rolled into the 18-and-under singles quarterfinals in San Diego.
Yepifanova, who won last week's International Open of Southern California in San Diego, outclassed 16th-seeded Madeleine Jessup of Rolling Hills, Calif., in the Los Angeles area 6-1, 6-1.
Advancing to the boys 18 singles quarterfinals were seventh-seeded Aidan "Pass The" Mayo of Roseville, Calif., in the Sacramento region and unseeded Ethan "Allen" Quinn of Fresno, Calif.
Mayo defeated 11th-seeded Azuma Visaya of Honolulu 6-4, 6-2. Quinn, who also won the International Open, beat wild card Jayden Templeton of Canada 5-7, 6-0, 6-3.

Ninth-seeded Chase "Bank" Fralick of Peachtree City, Ga., beat van Loben Sels 6-3, 7-5, and Nikita Filin of Wilmette, Ill., outplayed Lee 7-5, 6-3.
Van Loben Sels, 16, beat his close friend Lee to win the USTA Level 1 Spring Individual Championships on hardcourts in Mobile, Ala., last month and vault to No. 1 nationally in the 16s.
Fralick and Filin, both high school freshmen, are ranked fifth and 18th, respectively, in the 16s.
Unseeded Ethan Schiffman of Rancho Santa Fe in the San Diego area and van Loben Sels reached the doubles quarterfinals, as did eighth-seeded Alex Cairo "Egypt" of Dallas and "Bob" Dylan Tsoi of El Dorado Hills in the Sacramento region.
